The Mirror and the Window
A rich man took his son to a wise teacher.
한 부자가 아들을 현명한 선생님에게 데려갔다.
He wanted his son to understand the value of kindless.
그는 아들이 친절의 가치를 이해하기를 바랐다.
The teacher gave the boy a mirror and said,
선생님은 소년에게 거울을 주며 말했다.
"Look into this mirror. Whom do you see?"
“이 거울을 들여다 보아라. 누구를 보니?”
The boy answered, "I see myself."
소년은 대답했다. “나를 봅니다.”
Then the teacher showed him a window and asked,
그러고 나서 선생님은 창문을 보여주며 물었다.
“Now, wht do you see?”
“이번에는 무엇이 보이니?”
The boy said, "I see people out side."
소년은 말했다. “밖에 있는 사람들이 보여요.”
The teacher said,
선생님은 말했다.
“Both the mirror and the window are made of glass,
“거울과 창문 모두 유리로 만들어졌지만,
But when you only look at yourself, you forget the world."
자기 자신만 보면 세상을 잊게 된다.”
